1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport
From the owner, Danny Haughn:
"1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport,
351C Q-Code CobraJet engine,
C6 Stock Transmission,
Bucket Seats with Auto Floor Shifter,
Rim Blow 3-spoke steering wheel,
Factory Gauge package,
Custom shaker hood.
I purchased the black 1972 Gran Torino Sport in April 2015 and I am the 4th owner of the vehicle. The seller stated that the original car was green with a bench seat, automatic column shift, manual brakes and that he had painted the Torino black and installed the bucket seats, floor shifter, and the power brake system, however the car did not shift properly and the power brakes were super sensitive. I completed the work needed by installing the proper floor shift linkage in the transmission in lieu of the original column shift linkage and installed a power brake pedal in lieu of the manual brake pedal as the brake pedal pivot points are different. I then completed the car with the custom shaker hood work and installed the correct optional factory gauges, the 3-spoke rim blow steering wheel, 1972 correct OEM seat belts from Fatman’s Garage, and the S/S Cragars to add sparkle to the car. Today the 1972 Torino runs and drives beautiful. The car was originally from the Lexington, KY, area and now is home in the Daytona Beach, FL, area."
