this is a used rochester quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor that came off of a 455 buick big block from 1974. This has the part number 7040247 and 7040988, as well as the date code 1574. I highly encourage you to reference these as well as reference the tape measure photos to ensure fitment before purchase, especially if not being used for the 70-74 buick big block application specifically. This would make an excellent gift for somebody who needs one or make a great replacement item for your own project.
